Shape the future of mentoring in Europe!
The 2024 European Mentoring Summit, hosted by Collectif Mentorat and Mentoring Europe, is coming up!
Join us this April in Paris for networking, collaboration, and knowledge exchange dedicated to mentoring in Europe.
Are you ready to lead the conversation?
If you have insights, strategies, or unique experiences that fit our theme, “Expanding reach, deepening impact: mentoring for facing challenges and empowering futures” – we want to hear from you.
This is your chance to share and discuss your ideas with a wide range of people, from everyday practitioners and researchers to those in decision-making roles and supporters.
We’re seeking proposals on one of the following key themes:
Dive into the depths of fostering inclusive and diverse relationships.
Each mentoring relationship is unique and works for specific reasons. This topic places the mentor-mentee relationship at the centre, exploring the foundation of successful mentoring relationships, as genuine and different as they can be. It is all about understanding how to make the mentor and mentee connection stronger and more accessible for everyone. We want to hear how you create meaningful relationships, how you strengthen the bond, understanding each person’s unique role and valuing everyone’s contributions equally.
Share insights on growth strategies and innovative approaches to reach new and broader audiences.
As the demand for mentoring increases, it’s crucial to expand initiatives and services to serve a larger audience. This topic explores strategies, challenges, and innovative solutions for making mentoring available to more people. We aim to discuss the different methods of scaling mentoring programs, and understanding how organisations evolve, adapt and create new ways to ensure that a greater number of people can enjoy the benefits of mentoring.
Discuss the systemic and transformative impact of mentoring, spanning from people’s entourage to societies at large.
Beyond the impact mentoring can have on mentors and mentees lies the vast potential for change and impact on the environment surrounding the relationship. Here, we discuss how mentoring doesn’t just have an impact on the duo directly involved but can also influence and bring positive changes to families, schools, workplaces, communities and even on policies for social inclusion. We want to look at real-life examples to understand the transformative role mentoring plays in crafting empowered, inclusive, and resilient societies.
Shed light on strategies to maintain, measure and improve the quality of mentoring relationships and programs.
As mentoring programs get bigger, it’s important to keep them as good as they were when they started, and find ways for improvement. This theme is about using the best methods and tools to check that mentoring remains helpful and meaningful and evaluate its impact, while always looking for ways to do it better, where core values and standards are never compromised. This cross-cutting topic is a compass, guiding mentors, mentees, and organisations towards best practices, assessment methodologies, and continual improvement strategies.
