Getting to Yes: How to create targeted marketing communication strategies to increase brand awareness and recruit new volunteers

Julie Gehring is a strategic communications and mentoring consultant for a wide variety of organizations, both nationally and internationally. She has partnered with organizations such as the US Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, the National Mentoring Resource Center, the Governor’s Prevention Partnership, Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers, and The Advocacy Academy. She serves as an affiliated faculty member on the campuses of the University of Massachusetts, Emerson College and Curry College.
In her international portfolio, Julie has been a leader at the European Mentoring Summit, European Center for Evidence-Based Mentoring and was selected by the Eurasia Foundation to be a Social Expertise Fellow to Russia. Additionally, she was selected to be a fellow by the UMass Boston’s Center for Collaborative Leadership. Prior to launching her consulting business, Julie was the Director of Mentoring and Community Engagement at Mother Caroline Academy in Boston, Massachusetts.
