Professor Dolan is joint founder and Director of the UNESCO Child and Family Research Centre. He holds the prestigious UNESCO Chair in Children, Youth and Civic Engagement. The UNESCO Chair delivers a comprehensive program of work towards the objective of promoting civic engagement and leadership skills among children and youth.

Jean Rhodes is the Frank L. Boyden Professor of Psychology and the Director of the Center for Evidence-Based Mentoring at the University of Massachusetts Boston.

For more than 25 years, MENTOR has helped build and serve the mentoring field by providing a public voice; developing and delivering resources to mentoring programs nationwide; and promoting quality for mentoring through evidence-based standards, innovative research and essential tools.

Pippo Costella is the director of Defense for Children International Italia. He has worked on childhood and adolescence development programs with various NGOs, international agencies and institutions in the Middle East, South East Asia and Europe.

Beatriz Hernandez de Fuhr is an information specialist and a researcher at KVINFO, the Danish Centre for Information on Gender, Equality and Diversity. Beatriz has worked for many years developing social and cultural programs for international organizations, and she continues in this role with KVINFO’s Mentor Network.

Dr. Bernadette Sánchez conducts research on mentoring relationships and positive youth development among urban, low-income adolescents of color. Her research is on the role of formal and informal mentoring relationships in youth’s educational experiences.

Òscar Prieto-Flores is an associate professor at the University of Girona and Principal Investigator of the RECERCAIXA research project APPLYING MENTORING: Social and Technological Innovations for the Inclusion of Immigrant and Refugee Populations.

Begoña Román Maestre has a PhD in philosophy from the University of Barcelona. She is currently a Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Barcelona.

Doctor in Psychology, expert in family and educational guidance. Professor of the Department of Applied Pedagogy of the Autonomous University of Barcelona and author of several books on family and school.

Sylvie Guillaume is a French politician and Member of the European Parliament (MEP) from France. She is a member of the Socialist Party, part of the Party of European Socialists.
