Gloria Amoruso is the founder and CEO of the Berlin-based NGO "kein Abseits! e.V." and has been working in the youth mentoring field for about seven years. "kein Abseits! e.V." focuses on the encounter of different living environments and works with both local and newcomer families.
Szilvia Simon is community manager of the European Center for Evidence-Based Mentoring, shaping the network of mentoring practitioners and researchers in Europe. In collaboration with experts, she organises events of knowledge exchange, promotes the uptake of research results and develops a quality system of mentoring.
Bernd Schüler is a sociologist and political scientist. Since 2004 he has held various roles in the mentorship program of “biffy Berlin - Big Friends for Youngsters e. V.” As a freelance author and speaker, he provides knowledge transfer by providing insights into mentoring projects and mentoring research
Florian Amoruso-Stenzel has a graduate degree in educational sciences and has been coordinating mentoring projects with children of primary school age and adults since 2009. He is currently working as a pedagogical director for the mentoring association “kein Abseits! e.V.”
Detlef Pech is Professor for elementary school pedagogy and director of the Professional School of Education at the Humboldt University in Berlin. His research focuses on children's perspectives on society; contemporary history and children; general science and education; inclusion and educational training. Since 2011 he has been heading the project "Kratzeis - Expanding the world of experience".
