The 2020 European Mentoring Summit included a Philanthropic Track, where organizations had an opportunity to present their mentoring projects in front of potential sponsors that were particularly interested in funding mentoring organizations. The best project presentation received an economic prize of 1000€.
Who participated?
Organizations that work on mentoring could present 1 project to our Scientific Committee that entered a selection period. Only organizations registered to attend the 2020 European Mentoring Summit were eligible for selection.
What was there at the Philanthropic Track?
This was an exclusive event for only 8 organizations that were selected to participate. They got a chance to present their mentoring projects in front of some private companies and foundations. During an hour and a half, the selected organizations pitched their projects in front of the philanthropists and other participants. The projects received some very positive feedback from the philanthropists, who provided the attendees with tips and recommendations when it comes to putting their projects forward in front of potential sponsors.
Out of the 8 selected project, only one could win the award.
