Cristina Amboldi

Biography 

Cristina Amboldi, born on August 24, 1969, in Belgium, is the current Director-General of Actiris. With a solid educational background, she obtained her Master’s degree in Business Management from ICHEC – Business Management School in 1992, following which she completed her secondary education teaching certification in 1993.

Amboldi’s professional journey began in the field of education from 1992 to 1994. Transitioning to the corporate world, Amboldi took on roles with increasing responsibility. From 1999 to 2003, she worked as an Administration Secretary and IT Assistant at Actiris, where she managed IT projects and supervised different services. Subsequently, she served as the Head of Partnership and Employment Programs from 2003 to 2017, overseeing various initiatives and managing teams focused on partnership projects, quality assurance, and cross-functional collaboration.

In 2021, Amboldi’s career trajectory led her to the position of Director-General at Actiris. Her tenure saw significant achievements in aligning organizational objectives with governmental policies and implementing innovative solutions to address employment challenges.

Aside from her tenure at Actiris, Amboldi also held influential positions in government institutions. From 2014 to 2021, she served as an Employment Advisor and Deputy Chief of Staff for Employment and Training for two Brussels’ Employment Minister’s Cabinet, contributing to the formulation and execution of regional employment policies.

With her extensive experience spanning education, corporate, and government sectors, Cristina Amboldi has demonstrated exceptional leadership, strategic vision, and a steadfast commitment to fostering employment and partnership initiatives.
