Yvon Chouinard

Yvon Chouinard is a recognized expert in mentoring, supporting organizations in the implementation of mentoring programs, including mentor and mentee training. Until recently he was also an Executive coach and Practice leader at Pauzé Coaching in Montréal, Canada.
Prior to those second and third career, Yvon spent close to 35 years in corporate management with the Power Corporation of Canada group, a major public company with holdings primarily in insurance, investment management, media, and energy. For several years he managed Power Broadcasting Inc., before moving to Power Technology Investment Corporation, a venture capital company, where he was Executive Vice President.
Yvon holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration (B.A.A.). He also completed a graduate program in mentoring and a Minor in Psychology. He is a Certified Human Resources Professional and a Certified Coach by International Coach Federation. He is a former President of ICF Quebec and Mentorat Quebec.
He has published dozens of articles about mentoring, coaching, leadership, political skills and communication. He co-wrote a book entitled “Your Impact. Acting as a leader” which had a second edition in 2020.
