This is the general schedule for the 2020 European Mentoring Summit, which will be held online between the 5th and the 9th of October 2020. All the activities herein listed will happen live, through platforms such as Zoom or Crowdcast. Surrounding these activities, there will be materials available for streaming such as program expositions, research presentation or an interactive library where everyone will be able to share papers, articles or any kind of online materials that may be of interest in the context of the Summit.

The schedule has been built with an international perspective, taking into account diverse time zones to accommodate a diversity of attendees and speakers. Some of the sessions may happen in different time frames. The agenda here developed is an approximation, a general view of what will happen during the Summit. The schedule is set with the Central European Summer Time (CEST).

KEYNOTES: If you want to find out more about our Keynote Speakers, visit this page. All keynotes will be in English. The sessions will be recorded and made available for streaming with subtitles in Spanish.

GROUP DISCUSSIONS: The aim of these sessions is to allow the participants to be part of small discussion groups to talk about relevant topics surrounding the current situation. At the same time, these will create networking opportunities between the people in the same group. There will be multiple topics happening at the same time. There will be group discussions in English and in Spanish. All sessions will be recorded and made available for streaming. Each attendee will get to choose 1 session marked with the “group discussion” tag.

ROUNDTABLES: There will be a number of roundtables taking place both on Tuesday and Thursday. Roundtables will bring together experts in a topic related to mentoring such as how to approach mentoring with a gender perspective. There will be sessions both in English and Spanish.

WORKSHOPS: All workshop sessions will be interactive. Up to 25 participants will get to actively participate in each workshop by learning from experts in a creative way. Each attendee will get to choose up to 3 sessions marked with the “workshop” tag.

RESEARCH DEBATE TABLES: For those presenters sharing their research results and methodologies, there will be a different space created. Instead of an interactive workshop, research presentations will be recorded and made available for streaming throughout the week (optionally accompanied by the research paper). Research presenters will then get a space for debate where an unlimited number of attendees will be able to participate with a Q&A. We recommend watching the research presentations and reading the articles/papers before the Q&A to get the most of the sessions.

PHILANTHROPIC TRACK: As explained in this page, this space is an opportunity for mentoring programs to meet potential sponsors and philanthropists.
